Location Concord, Ohio
Description of Location Concord Ohio is located approximately 25 minutes east of Cleveland. ISK is located on Auburn road, just off of State Route 90. Surrounding cities include Mentor, Painesville and Chardon.

Description of duties

Serve as the Herbicide Development Representative for ISK active ingredients, which includes, but is not limited to:

Preparing for the annual project and budget cycle by prioritizing and defining herbicide development needs for new active ingredient and branded product development.

Creating single and multi-year plans for all herbicide development projects to support the annual project and budget cycle.

Communicating directly with ISK Biosciences Headquarters to review project plans and protocols.

Implementing and managing herbicide development projects as outlined by an approved budget, which involves:

Finalizing protocols with ISK Biosciences Headquarters.

Utilizing general knowledge of North American agriculture to placde trials in relevant agricultural regions and locations.

Obtaining and maintaining relationships with a large number of cooperators (i.e. contract research organizations, university scientists and government scientists.)

Providing updates, as requested, to IBA Management, IBA Marketing, and ISK Biosciences Headquarters regarding trial placement and information regarding the budget.

Visiting trials through the field season, including IBA trials, university field days, and distribution trial tours.

Organizing and executing trial tours with colleagues from ISK Biosciences Headquarters.

Obtaining field trial reports and preparing reports to share with IBA Management, IBA Marketing and ISK Biosciences Headquarters.

Serve as the Technical Service Representative for ISK active ingredients, which includes but is not limited to:

Preparing technical presentations for all herbicide active ingredients and uses.

Presenting technical information regarding IBA active ingredients.

Providing requested support to LATAM team which includes travel if necessary.

Additional duties include:

Participating in regulatory discussions.

Creating field efficacy analyses and value statements for EPA and PMRA label submissions.

Authroring relevant label contents for new active ingredients and label expansion projects.

Representing ISK Biosciences at professional meetings (i.e. WSSA, NAICC, IR4 Minor Use, and PMC Minor Use) and on relevant Herbicide Action Committees (i.e. WSSA and/or HRAC).

Act a GLP study director if needed.


Qualifications sought

At minimum, must have a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience

Ph.D. preferred

Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50-60% including international

Ability to speak and/or comprehend Spanish is desired

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States
