Date position available Spring 2020/summer 2020
Description of duties The position is for a suitable candidate interested in applying remote and proximal sensing technologies for weed ecology, precision weed detection and management OR developing cover crop systems and associated tactics for integrated weed management in conventional and organic field crop production systems. The project will involve field and greenhouse research activities. 
Qualifications sought The student will have relevant background and show a strong interest in scientific research for the betterment of agriculture. The student will thrive in a multi-disciplinary research environment and collaborate with other scientists within and outside the university. State-of-the art research facilities are available with the team and is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

The candidate must hold or be currently working towards an MS degree (with thesis research) in a related field. Preference will be given to US citizens, but other nationalities may also apply.

This position requires travel to research sites, with occasional overnight stays. A valid driver license is required (or be able to obtain within 60 days of start).
