Description of Employer MOARK Agricultural Research LLC is owned by Nathan and Bree Goldschmidt and collects quality research data for our clients in many crops including corn, soybean, rice, cotton, wheat, tree crops and vegetables.
Location Fisk, MO
Description of Location Fisk is located in Southeast Missouri on fertile Delta soil and near the Missouri Ozarks, which offers excellent outdoor opportunities including camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, canoeing, etc.
Salary Starting pay $50,000 to $70,000 commensurate on experience.

Description of duties
  • Successfully manage multiple types of agronomic field trials from various clients and data reporting
  • Follow the specific protocol requirements of each study, including planting, maintenance, and data collection according to each study’s individual requirements
  • Mix pesticide formulations and make applications with small plot and commercial equipment
  • Conduct all field trial activities within a quality management system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Enter data into client-specific data capture systems, including ARM
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure successful and timely completion of all activities associated with MOARK field trials
  • Interact regularly with clients regarding field trial details
  • Direct work activities of seasonal employees
Qualifications sought
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in agronomic sciences or related discipline. A B.S. in agronomic sciences with 2+ years agronomic work experience may be considered.
  • Understanding of row-crop production and management
  • Ability to work independently to meet business goals
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Ability to work with electronic data capture systems with minimal assistance; proficiency with ARM is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to forecast field trial needs
  • Experience with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is helpful, but not required
