| Description of duties |
Develops and provides support for weed science programs in extension and resident instruction; coordinates development of educational materials for extension workshops; coordinates/teaches the laboratory component of H&CS 422 (Principles of Weed Science) one quarter per year; participates in planning, implementation, and evaluation of extension programs, educational materials, and electronic communication vehicles for dissemination of weed management information to clientele; contributes, prepares, and disseminates information about weed control in oral and written formats, and via the internet; interacts with clientele and serves as a resource for the OSU Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic for diagnosis of herbicide injury and weed identification; coordinates the preparation and delivery of weed management workshops; prepares plant specimens for weed identification and herbicide mode of action training for use in extension programs and courses; contributes to the activities of the OSU Agronomic Crops Team; and performs other duties as assigned.

| Qualifications sought |
Master's degree in agronomy or horticulture and crop science or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and considerable experience in teaching or research in weed science.
