Description of duties

Job Overview:
You will work as a key member of the Company’s CRM team tasked with maintaining an existing Salesforce implementation, maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of a Salesforce system across sales and service, customer service, community and eCommerce. Required knowledge of sales,service, fulfilment is key and knowing some of the fundamental processes in those areas.

The Salesforce Administrator will utilize excellent technical and communication skills to interface directly and in a team environment with internal stakeholders and external business partners to understand their needs for developing, administering and enhancing the Company’s Enterprise Salesforce system. This position will serve as the go-to for users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, provide training and complete other duties such as updates add/remove/change users, custom fields, triggers, cases, and workflows that are associated with a Salesforce Administrator.

Responsibilities and Duties:
* Administer production and pre-production instances of Salesforce
* Provide second-level support for Salesforce incidents and defects
* Ensure the availability, security, and performance of Salesforce, including administration of licenses and access control, change management, and monitoring
* Manage and support production data and API integrations
* Identify opportunities for promoting process efficiency, simplification, and improving application performance
* Analyze downstream and client process impact and make recommendations for solutions
* Gather business, functional, and high-level technical requirements from a variety of stakeholders
* Provide input for the data architecture, workflows, and general use of Salesforce
* Create accurate test plans, conditions, and conduct
* Provide dashboards, custom reports, and data analysis
* Act as a Salesforce subject matter expert (SME) for business and technology teams
* Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
* Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
* Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
* Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams
* Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements

* Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
* Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes

* Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
* Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications are a plus
* Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
* Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
* Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
* Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
* Strong data management abilities
* A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
* A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
* 3 years’ experience as Salesforce Admin
* 4 years of experience with Salesforce support and technical experience in either computer science or information technology preferred
* Strong understanding of Salesforce technical/development capabilities (e.g. apex, visual force etc.)
