Description of duties |
The Weed Science Group in the Department of Plants, Soils & Climate at Utah State University is seeking for a motivated graduate student interested in investigating control options for invasive mustard species that are listed as high priority on the Utah State Noxious Weed List. Research project will focus on applied weed management, but laboratory approaches can be used to further our understanding of mustard management in Utah. The M.S. graduate student is expected to work collaboratively within the USU Weed Science Program. Start date is flexible, however Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 are ideal. |
Qualifications sought |
• Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in agronomy, biology, horticulture, plant science, or related fields. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Driver’s license. |
