LAWRENCE, Kansas – November 18, 2016 –  Upcoming annual meetings of the Weed Science Society of America (WSSA) and regional weed science organizations are expected to offer new perspectives on a wide range of issues vital to the future – from how to manage herbicide-resistant weeds to new advances in weed control technologies.

It is time once again to elect officers for the WSSA Board of Directors. This year only the Vice-President position is vacant. The deadline for voting is December 2, 2016.
As reported at the annual WSSA business meeting in February 2016, the Board of Directors voted to establish a new partnership with Cambridge University Press (CUP) to publish the WSSA journals starting January 1, 2017.
