Description of duties |
A PhD graduate research assistantship is available at the Weed Science Research Laboratory, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas to develop AI/ML solutions for weed recognition and mapping to facilitate precision weed management. Qualifications sought |
The preferred candidate must hold or be currently working towards an MS degree in a relevant field. Knowledge of various sensors, familiarity with image analysis softwares, a strong interest in precision weed management, an aptitude to quickly learn concepts, and an ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team are a must. The successful candidates should already have a valid driver license or obtain one within 3 months of starting. Only the shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
