Description of Location | Department/Program & College Description: Iowa State Extension has a forward-looking and responsive Integrated Crop Management team that addresses issues in Iowa crop production. The team is composed of extension faculty and field-specialists in agronomy, weed science, plant pathology, entomology, economics, sociology, and agricultural engineering. Thus, there are excellent opportunities for collaboration and the successful candidate will be expected to develop strong interdisciplinary relationships across the institution. There are also significant opportunities for collaboration with allied research organizations such as USDA-ARS National Laboratory for Agricultural and the Environment, private industry, commodity organizations, and other state and national partners.
