Applied Invasive Aquatic Plant Research

Description of Duties

One MS Research Assistantship is available in the Department of Biological Sciences at Minnesota State University, Mankato to study and develop herbicide recommendations for the invasive floating aquatic plant European frogbit. The primary focus of investigation will be development and conducting of submersed and foliar herbicide trials for control of European frogbit. Applicants will be a part of a research team and as such may become involved in other projects.
Applicants should have strong lab and field-based research experience, as well as, excellent organizational, quantitative, and analytical skills.
