Graduate Research Assistantship (PhD) – Weed Science

Description of Duties

Conduct research in the area of weed ecology/ biology, herbicide resistance, cover crops, and Integrated Weed Management. Research will involve greenhouse, and field experiments. Student will have the opportunity to work with the collaborators at University of Delaware, United States Department of Agriculture, and many other weed science faculties working in the region.

The candidate must have MS degree, some training in weed science, and strong interest to work in multi-disciplinary teams. Preference will be given to students with experience on herbicide applications, and weed management. Student will complete courses at Blacksburg campus and research will be at multi-locations (VT Blacksburg, and Eastern shore AREC).
