The Weed Science Society of America has developed a set of infographics to educate the broader audience on the economic benefits of proactive resistance management. Return on investment for herbicide resistance best management practices have been developed for the Western, Midwestern, and Southern regions to demonstrate the economic value of proactive resistance management. Results from a five-year field-scale study on the effect of different tillage practices on the return on investment is illustrated. Additionally, documents have also been developed to communicate best management practices for herbicide resistance, field identification and control of suspected resistant weeds, and the economic returns to herbicide resistance management of horseweed.
